New Patients

Lawndale Medical Clinic works a little differently from other clinics. Once you have completed our required forms, we will verify your insurance so as to make sure that we are in network with your particular plan. We will then call you in from our main waiting room to take some vital health information and inquire about what brings you to us today. At this time you can request a specific provider or allow us to guide you to the provider that best meets your needs for that day. At that point you will be sent to another waiting room were you will be received by your provider's assistant, that will gather more specific information about today's consultation. At this point you will meet with your provider.

Here you can express yourself directly to your provider and get their opinion and guidance to today's treatment. Here is where the provider will give you their opinion and guidance as to how to process. They may request laboratory tests, or x-rays in order to accurately diagnosis or prescribe a medication. While this is not always needed, it is important to know that sometimes, it is mandatory before the provider can diagnose or prescribe. It is at this point that you will be required to pay for these serves and the office visit and then get the required services. Once the results of these services are ready (usually 24-48 hours depending on the service, will be be asked to come back to get the results and another office visit depending on the findings. Sometimes another visit is not required and result can be given over the telephone, Sometimes a referral to a specialist or additional testing is required.
